Here at Cothrom, we have been providing support and education for the community since 1992.
Throughout the years, we have supported over 1000 members of our community to overcome
training barriers, to complete a range of qualifications, to learn new vocational skills and to gain
confidence in their own lives as learners, volunteers and employees.
We provide educational, employability and support services that are in place to support residents
and employers from all backgrounds and ages across Uist & Barra. We provide services through
statutory, national and voluntary programme funding which includes:
past few years while core costs and utility costs have risen year on year, which means we are trying
to maintain services on a drastically reduced budget while trying not to raise nursery fees beyond
the means of young parents.
To ensure that we can continue providing all of our services, we are asking members of the
community (that can afford to do so) to donate to our cause. We are incredibly grateful for the
support we receive from the community over the years, and we could not have got this far without
your support.
There is an option for a one-off donation, or you can choose to set up a monthly donation, depending on
your personal preference.
Any kind of donation would be incredibly appreciated by all of us here at Cothrom, and would go a
very long way in ensuring that the vast number of services we provide will remain available to
everyone in the community.
